10 actors of different ages, origins and backgrounds were interviewed about their views on circus. The portrayed people have all been active in the circus arts for years or decades and enter into a very personal dialogue with themselves for the video.
The focus of the interviews was the question of „what“. What defines the art form circus, what are its special characteristics?

10 Akteur*innen verschiedenen Alters, verschiedener Herkunft und mit ganz diversen Hintergründen wurden zu ihrer Sichtweise zu Zirkus befragt. Die Porträtierten sind alle seit Jahren oder Jahrzehnten in der Zirkuskunst tätig und treten für das Video in einen ganz persönlichen Dialog
mit sich selbst.
Im Fokus der Interviews stand die Frage nach dem „was“. Wodurch wird die Kunstform Zirkus definiert, was sind ihre besonderen Merkmale?
